Elliot MinorYou need not be reminded of this band they are HUGE! Their eponymous first album was released in 2008 and reached #6 in the UK album chart. The same year Elliot Minor played at several large music festivals, including Download Festival, T in the Park, Oxegen Festival and Reading and Leeds Festival. They made an appearance on Jo Whiley's Radio 1 program. They join us this year to Headline the Copmanthorpe Carnival as Elliot Minor’s only York gig this summer and your only chance to catch them live on stage in York.

Hungry GhostsFollowing a spell-binding 2008 where they looked at home on festival stages across the country, including the coveted spots at Leeds & Reading, Hungry Ghosts are looking to set alight 2009 and blaze a trail through the summer season yet again. Expect to hear hook-driven, pop-rock tuneage, chugging anthemic mantra's, percussion laden acoustic vocal fests and anything in between. Hungry Ghosts straddle genres and shift direction effortlessly and unexpectedly. They possess the musical bait for every taste and put it out there in front of you to bite into...and you will!!
