Welcome to the Copmanthorpe Web Site
This is a web site for the people of Copmanthorpe, a detached suburb south-west of York.
The site is an information source on Copmanthorpe. You will find details about shops, the library, doctors and church services. It is also a place where Copmanthorpe based groups and businesses can create their own web sites.
The web site's organisation and navigation are inspired by the villages street names. They are used loosely, School Lane is for all things children and youth and Church Street is for anything spiritual. To start moving around the site click on the street names at the top of the page.
The web site is now well established and steadily growing in content. But there are still some large gaps and probably a few mistakes, so if you do have information which you would like added please contact us using the Enquiry Form.
Hair at Unit 6 is under new managment and is reopening on September 1st 2010 as The Salon, Hair and Beauty.
With a fresh new modern look and the addition of some new services including ladies and mens haircuts both modern and classic and beauty treatments. These include Acrylic Nails, Minx Nails, Spray tanning, Waxing, Manicures, Pedicures, Facials, Make up and Wedding Packages. We look forward to welcoming all clients, old and new.
